Skoda’s latest announcement comes in the form of new prices. The Czech carmaker has announced that it will hike the prices of its entire model range in India from October 1, 2026. The latest price hike will be as high as Rs 20,000, depending on the model.

Skoda October 2026 price hike details

As per the official announcement, Skoda has increased the ex-showroom prices of its models from October 1, 2026. The price hike has been set at 1.2 percent, which has resulted in a hike of up to Rs 20,000. While this price hike is minimal, the brand states that rising input costs and consistently fluctuating foreign exchange rates have led to this decision.

Skoda has already set the launch of the Slavia facelift for October 6, 2026, and the latest price correction has made the existing Slavia Rs 20,000 more expensive. This could mean that the new Slavia will be priced even higher than the latest price, which will result in a big price bump compared to the old prices.

As per the hiked price list, the new rates of the Skoda cars are as follows:

Model
Previous ex-showroom price
Price hike
Kylaq

Rs 7.59 – 12.99 lakh
Up to Rs 15,588
Slavia

Rs 10.00 – 18.19 lakh
Up to Rs 20,000
Kushaq

Rs 10.69 – 18.99 lakh
Up to Rs 20,000
Kodiaq

Rs 36.99 – 66.99 lakh
Up to Rs 20,000

With that said, the new Slavia facelift will be released tomorrow. The updated sedan now packs a redesigned exterior, new lights, new bumpers, and new alloys. The interior has been upgraded with a new digital driver cockpit, a new infotainment UI, and new features like ventilated front seats, wireless charging, ambient LED lighting, etc.

Powering the Slavia facelift will be the existing engine options that includes the 1.5 TSI and 1.0 TSI petrol engines. The 1.0 TSI now packs a new 8-speed automatic gearbox, replacing the outgoing 6-speed automatic gearbox.
