Aprilia SXR GT 125 and GT 175 launched from Rs 1.10 lakh

Aprilia has introduced the new SXR GT range of scooters in India with a starting price of Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom) for the GT 125 and Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom) for the GT 175. Both models are now available for booking, and deliveries are expected to commence shortly. The big update for both models is the new 14-inch wheels and revised engine tuning and power outputs.

Aprilia SXR GT 125 details

The smaller SXR GT 125 scooter is now available with a 124.45cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that makes 10.6 bhp and 10.4 Nm of peak power and torque. The scooter now rides on 14-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres and comes with a front disc brake and a combined braking system (CBS). Aprilia claims that the new engine has been tuned for better overall performance, acceleration, and improved fuel economy.

The styling of the GT 125 features a sharp look. The fascia features a sharp-looking beak-like apron, a big windscreen, and sharp LED lights. The scooter also gets aggressive graphics on the bodywork, along with an upright riding position and a big single seat. The SXR GT 125 is available in Matte Black, Glossy White, and Glossy Azzurro colour options.

The bigger SXR GT 175 is available at Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom). It is being offered in Metallic Blue, Matte Black, and Matte Green colourways. The big update on the SCR GT 175 is the new 14-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.

Powering the SXR GT 175 is a 174.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that makes 13.3 bhp and 14.14 Nm. This engine has also been tuned for improved fuel economy, rideability, and overall performance. It gets a 220mm front disc brake with a single-channel ABS.

Both scooters are now available across all Aprilia dealerships in India. Deliveries are expected to commence shortly for both models.
