The newly launched Trion electric scooter is available in two battery options (2.3 kWh and 3 kWh) and three variants (C1, C1X, and C2). The base variant, i.e. the C1, comes only with the 2.3 kWh battery pack that offers an IDC-claimed range of 108 km. Meanwhile, the C1X is a similar scooter, but it packs a bigger 3 kWh battery that offers up to 165 km of IDC-claimed range. Meanwhile, the C2 variant gets the 3 kWh battery pack, but it focuses on performance; hence, its IDC-claimed range is 128 km.

The Trion electric scooter rides on 14-inch alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. Its overall design is a mix of futuristic elements like the twin-pod projector LED headlamps and a small windscreen, while the big single seat, large footboard area, and an upright riding posture offer the practicality of a conventional scooter.

For the first 100 customers, E3 Electric.AI is offering a special offer of a free extended warranty that covers the battery and key drivetrain parts for 8 years or up to 1 lakh kilometres. These customers will also get free roadside assistance for 1 year.

As far as the price is concerned, the C1 variant is available at Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom), while the C1X and the C2 variants are available for Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). The E3 Trion is India’s first AI-powered electric scooter that offers smart features like TripSense and E3 CommandCentre, an AI Digital Twin to control and monitor battery optimisation, etc.
