JSW MG has updated the Hector with the new Storm range models in India. The brand has launched the Blackstorm and Snowstorm editions of the Hector, both featuring special cosmetic tweaks. JSW MG will produce limited units of the Hector Storm models, and these are available only with the 5-seater configuration and a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a CVT gearbox.
MG Hector Storm Editions details
As the names suggest, the Blackstorm Edition packs an all-black glossy exterior paint shade that is matched with the black alloy wheels, and red accents on the mirrors and around the LED headlights on the front bumper. Although the front grille uses the glossy black paint, the highlights still include the chrome treatment. It also gets red brake calipers for a sporty look.
Similarly, the Snowstorm Edition packs a Pearl White exterior paint shade that is matched with the contrasting black roof, mirrors, and front grille. The headlight housing has also been painted black, and the alloy wheels have also undergone a similar treatment, with red brake calipers. Both models also feature a smoked-out tailgate design.
On the inside, the Storm Edition series comes equipped with black interior leather upholstery. The black theme is mated to a five-seater configuration, and the front seat headrests feature the Storm branding. Apart from this cosmetic change, the overall cabin and the features are unaltered from the top-spec Savvy Pro variants.
The Storm Edition Hector models are priced at Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom), making them Rs 35,000 more expensive than the Savvy Pro trim. Both models are available with the 1.5-litre petrol engine and a CVT gearbox option only. Bookings have commenced, and deliveries of the Hector Storm models will begin shortly.
