Toyota launched the facelifted Glanza yesterday in India with a starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh onwards (ex-showroom). For the first time, Toyota is offering the Glanza with a new powertrain that includes a CNG engine and an AMT automatic gearbox. With the new engine, new design, and more features, Toyota has also revealed the updated ARAI mileage figures for the 2026 Glanza, powertrain-wise.
Toyota Glanza facelift ARAI mileage details
As per the official details shared by the company, the Glanza facelift is now offered with a new 1.2-litre Z12E three-cylinder petrol engine that is carried over from the 2026 Maruti Baleno facelift. Since both cars are essentially the same, Toyota has not altered the engine settings for the new petrol powertrain. This engine now replaces the outgoing 1.2-litre K12C four-cylinder petrol engine that was offered with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
The new 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine on the Glanza facelift is available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox option. As per the claimed ARAI mileage, the manual version offers 23.80 km/l mileage, whereas the AMT version offers 24.77 km/l mileage.
Meanwhile, the newly introduced three-cylinder 1.2-litre CNG engine is now available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The manual version offers a claimed 33.61 km/kg mileage, whereas the new AMT+CNG combination offers 34.47 km/kg mileage. This also makes the new CNG+AMT powertrain the most efficient option for Glanza buyers.
Speaking of the changes, Toyota has introduced a new fascia for the Glanza. The redesigned bumper, new grille, and black highlights are inspired by the Lexus design ideology. Meanwhile, the rest of the car is similar to the outgoing version. On the inside, it now packs more features like wireless charging, ventilated front seats, etc. It also gets ADAS safety features on the range-topping variants.
