Benelli TRK 552: Everything to know before buying it
The new TRK 552 is the brand’s latest middleweight adventure-tourer bike. The biggest upgrade that the TRK 552 brings with it is the all-new 554cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine. This engine generates 52 bhp and 49 Nm, and it is paired with a 6-speed gearbox that comes with a slipper-assist clutch. The power output of the new engine is 15 percent higher than the TRK 502.
Moving on, the brand has also redesigned the hardware setup of the TRK 552. It now uses a new aluminium swingarm, which shall offer better handling and help reduce the kerb weight of the motorcycle. The front now gets the new 50 mm Marzocchi upside-down forks, while the rear continues with the preload-adjustable monoshock suspension.
Another big upgrade is the new 5-inch colour TFT console. The new instrument console not only offers a new UI, but it also packs advanced features like Google Maps navigation via phone mirroring, ride modes, traction modes, Bluetooth connectivity for SMS and call alerts, music controls, etc.
Not only that, but Benelli has also added features from higher-class ADVs like the heated grips, a redesigned heated seat for better comfort, new hand guards, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The overall styling of the TRK 552 is more or less identical to the outgoing TRK 502. The only changes come in the form of the new colourways and graphics.
Benelli has listed the new TRK 552 for Rs 7.22 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it Rs 60,000 costlier than the outgoing TRK 502. It will be available only in an alloy-wheel version, and bookings for it commenced on October 22, 2026.
