Ducati has unveiled the new Streetfighter V4 SP at EICMA 2026, positioning it as the most exclusive and track-focused version of its high-performance naked motorcycle. Based on the Streetfighter V4, the SP gets a host of upgrades derived from Ducati’s racing experience, including lighter carbon-fibre wheels, a dry clutch and electronically controlled Ohlins suspension.
The new model also wears Ducati’s distinctive Winter Test livery, inspired by the motorcycles used by its MotoGP and WorldSBK teams during pre-season testing. As with previous SP models, production will be in a numbered series.
Powertrain
Power comes from the familiar 1,103 cc, 90-degree Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, producing 214 hp at 13,500 rpm. Ducati quotes 120 Nm of torque at 11,250 rpm for the new model.
The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and Ducati Quick Shift 2.0. One of the significant changes is the STM EVO-SBK dry clutch, which offers improved anti-hop functionality and smoother operation during aggressive downshifts. The motorcycle also gets a racing final drive.
Tech and hardware
The carbon-fibre wheels are among the most important upgrades. They reduce weight by 0.95kg compared with forged wheels, while also lowering rotational inertia. Ducati claims a 12 per cent reduction in front-wheel inertia and 19 per cent at the rear, helping the motorcycle change direction more readily.
Suspension duties are handled by Ohlins NIX30 front forks and a TTX36 rear shock, both controlled by the Smart EC 3.0 electronic system. The package also includes an Ohlins electronic steering damper.
Braking hardware comprises twin 330mm front discs with Brembo Hypure callipers and a 245mm rear disc. The front braking setup gets a Brembo MCS radial master cylinder with remote adjustment, allowing riders to tailor lever feel. The motorcycle weighs 188kg without fuel and has an 845mm seat height.
Race-spec electronics
The visual changes are equally distinctive. The Streetfighter V4 SP gets a matte-black Winter Test paint scheme with red highlights, an exposed brushed-aluminium fuel tank and carbon-fibre wings. The adjustable billet-aluminium footpegs can be repositioned to suit different riding styles and can also be configured for a reverse-shift gear pattern.
The electronics package is built around a six-axis IMU and includes four riding modes and four power modes, along with Ducati Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Slide Control and Engine Brake Control. The 6.9-inch TFT display gets the latest interface, while the motorcycle also features cruise control and a pit limiter.
