Aprilia RS457 gets cheaper, Tuono 457 prices unchanged
As per the latest official announcement, Aprilia India is retaining the old prices of its 457cc range. The 457 bikes of Aprilia include the RS457 and the Tuono 457.
The Tuono 457 pricing will remain unchanged. This means it will be offered at Rs 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom), thus absorbing the GST hike of Rs 20,000.
Similarly, the RS457 sportsbike will be offered at Rs 4.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra), thus absorbing the Rs 15,000 price hike, while offering a Rs 20,500 bi-directional quickshifter for free.
Speaking of the other products, Aprilia has reduced the prices of its scooters as per the new GST implementation. However, the Italian brand has been working hard to establish its 457cc bikes in India. The price retention is going to be helpful for the brand in the long run.
Mind you, both 457cc Aprilia models are made in India and exported to Europe and other international markets. The attractive price tag and the powerful parallel-twin engine makes the 457cc bikes a lucrative buy.
