Audi A4 e-tron EV: What to expect?
As per the latest report, Audi has confirmed that it is working on the A4 e-tron, and this new EV will be based on the SSP or Scalable Systems Platform. The brand official has also shared the debut timeline as 2028.
It is being rumoured online that the A4 e-tron will take its design inspiration from the Concept C. Therefore, we can expect its design to be radically different from the current Audi EVs.
Based on the assumptions, the latest design renderings show a clean, coupe-like design with streamlined body panels, a chiselled bonnet, and a vertical grille with sharp and sleek Matrix LED headlights.
With that said, the A4 e-tron will rival the upcoming Mercedes-Benz CLA electric and the BMW i3 when it debuts in 2028. Although no other details regarding its powertrain or range have been revealed as of now.
Considering that it will use the new SSP architecture, the A4 e-tron will easily offer 700 km range or more. The new SSP will offer an 800V support, offering staggering performance.
Audi has scheduled to debut the A4 e-tron in 2028. Which means that it could possibly come to India, but not anytime before 2030.
