Benelli unleashes its grandest road tourer yet: TRK 902 Stradale

Key highlights

  • Benelli has unveiled the TRK 902 Stradale, the brand’s flagship road-focused touring motorcycle.
  • It gets a new 904cc parallel-twin engine, advanced electronics, and premium suspension.
  • Positioned as a grand tourer for riders who value comfort, range, and real-world performance.

Benelli has finally taken the wraps off its most ambitious touring motorcycle yet, the TRK 902 Stradale. Think of it as the evolution of the TRK family, but with a sharper road focus, more power, more tech, and a lot more maturity. This is no adventure bike pretending to be something else. This is Benelli building a true grand tourer for the rider who prefers smooth tarmac, endless highways, and full days in the saddle.

The TRK 902 Stradale also marks a clear step up for Benelli as a brand. It shows intent. And more importantly, it shows that they now want to share garage space with big names in sport-touring.

Engine & Performance

The motorcycle is powered by a 904cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin that makes 105 hp and 90 Nm of torque, giving it a healthy dose of mid-range punch, perfect for overtaking trucks at three-digit speeds or simply cruising in sixth without fuss.

The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, and Benelli has tuned the motor for refinement and torque delivery rather than pure aggression. Riders will certainly appreciate that on endurance rides.

Touring-Ready Hardware

Benelli has equipped the TRK 902 Stradale with suspension that means business.

  • 50 mm USD front forks
  • Rear mono-shock with preload and rebound adjust
  • Long travel for comfort, not off-road antics

The bike also gets full fairing protection, a large adjustable windscreen, and well-sculpted seats for both rider and pillion.

And yes, there’s a big fuel tank too. Because no one wants to stop every 180 km and sip chai when they could be munching distance.

Tech & Features

Benelli has gone modern with this one. The bike gets:

  • Multiple ride modes
  • Traction control
  • Cornering ABS
  • Cruise control
  • A full-colour TFT screen with smartphone connectivity

These are features that finally put Benelli on the same page as other global touring machines.

Design & Presence

One glance, and it’s clear this is the most mature-looking Benelli yet. There’s less flash, more purpose. The lines are muscular but controlled. The fairing flows into the tank smoothly. The side bags are optional, and thank heavens Benelli didn’t try to copy-paste adventure bike styling again.

Where It Sits in the Market

The TRK 902 Stradale slots itself between full-blown adventure-tourers and pure sports tourers. Think of it as a rival to the likes of the Kawasaki Versys 1000, Suzuki V-Strom 1050 DE (on the road-biased side), and even the Triumph Tiger 900 GT.

If Benelli prices it right (which they usually do), this could become a very tempting touring upgrade for riders coming from the 650 class.
