Bentley Continental GT Supersports revealed: The fiercest Bentley GT yet

Key highlights

  • New Supersports is the most powerful and lightest Continental GT ever
  • Powered by a twin-turbo V8 hybrid setup with over 771 bhp
  • Weight reduction, carbon aero, and track-focused engineering define its purpose

Bentley has revealed the Continental GT Supersports, and let’s just say this isn’t a car for quiet country drives and polite brunch runs. This is Bentley at full send, a lighter, harder, more focused version of its grandest grand tourer. It still looks like money, but it now behaves like it’s got something to prove.

The new Supersports sits at the top of the Continental family. Bentley calls it the most dynamic road car it has ever built. And for once, that sounds more like a fact than marketing fluff.

Powertrain

Under the hood, the familiar 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 now works with a hybrid drive system to deliver a monstrous 771 bhp and 1,000 Nm. That’s enough torque to tow a small planet, or at least leave a very expensive Pirelli signature on the tarmac.

Bentley claims a 0–100 km/h time of just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 335 kmph. Yes, in a car with massaging seats.

Lightest Benltley GT?

The Supersports sheds over 100 kg thanks to carbon components, a slimmer 12V architecture, and lightweight exhaust plumbing. The aero kit includes a carbon front splitter, diffuser, side skirts, and a fixed rear wing that looks like it belongs on a GT3 racer. It’s serious, but it still carries that unmistakable Bentley swagger, luxury stitched into aggression.

Interior

Inside, the cabin remains peak Bentley: Alcantara, leather, and knurled metals. But there’s a sharper edge now, with Supersports-specific trim, sport bucket seats, and optional carbon panels for owners who think wood is too polite.

Based on early impressions, this isn’t just a faster Continental GT. It’s a sign of where Bentley performance is headed, electrified, unapologetic, and engineered to keep supercars sweating.

Our thoughts

A thousand Nm, a giant wing, a hybrid V8 that doesn’t pretend to save the planet, it’s chaos wrapped in quilted leather.

Would I track it? Probably not. Would I stare at it in my garage while talking to it like a pet? Absolutely!
