BSA Motorcycles has announced a festive offer that brings the Gold Star 650 back to its pre-GST 2.0 pricing. For a limited time, buyers can snag the retro-modern roadster starting at INR 3.09 lakh (ex-showroom), down from the revised INR 3.31 lakh. That’s a INR 22,000 saving.

The offer applies to all five colour variants: Highland Green, Insignia Red, Midnight Black, Dawn Silver, and the top-tier Legacy Black. BSA has confirmed that this is a limited-period deal, available for the first 500 motorcycles only.

Offer Details: Pre-GST 2.0 Prices (Ex-Showroom Delhi)

– BSA Gold Star Highland Green – INR 3,09,990

– BSA Gold Star Insignia Red – INR 3,09,990

– BSA Shadow Black – INR 3,25,990

– BSA Midnight Black – INR 3,21,990

– BSA Dawn Silver – INR 3,21,990

– BSA Legacy Sheen Silver – INR 3,44,990

What you get for the money

The Gold Star 650 is powered by a 652cc single-cylinder engine that makes 45 hp and 55 Nm of torque. It’s paired with a 5-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch. The bike features:

  • Twin-pod analog instrument cluster
  • 18-inch wire-spoke wheels
  • Dual-channel ABS
  • LED DRLs and halogen headlamp
  • Classic British styling with modern touches

The Legacy Black variant gets a hand-painted finish and premium detailing, while the rest of the lineup offers a mix of glossy and matte paint schemes.

Why this matters

With GST 2.0 pushing mid-capacity motorcycles into a higher tax bracket, most brands have quietly bumped up prices. BSA’s decision to absorb the hike, at least temporarily, is a bold move to keep the Gold Star competitive against rivals like the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.

It also signals BSA’s intent to build momentum in India, where the brand relaunched earlier this year under Classic Legends. The Gold Star 650 is its flagship offering, and this festive discount could help boost visibility and showroom traffic.
