BYD India has announced a price revision for the Sealion 7 model. Its Premium variant is now Rs 50,000 more expensive to buy. Read for more details below.

BYD Sealion 7 price revised for 2026
The latest price hike for the Sealion 7 has been imposed only on the Premium variant. This variant is reported to be high in demand, and hence it has undergone a price correction of Rs 50,000. The new price hike is effective from January 1, while the previous bookings that have been made before December 31 will be offered at the same prices.
Meanwhile, the Performance variant pricing has been kept unchanged. With that said, the Premium variant will now cost Rs 49.40 lakh, as opposed to Rs 48.90 lakh previously. Meanwhile, the Performance variant is priced at Rs 54.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Powering the Sealion 7 is an 82.56 kWh Blade battery that offers 532/308bhp and 690/380Nm of power and torque. The lower figures mentioned here are for the Premium variant, while the higher figures are for the Performance variant.
The maximum claimed range of the Sealion 7 is for the Premium variant, which stands at 567 km on a single charge. Meanwhile, the electric crossover is also rated for a 5-star Euro NCAP rating, thus making it one of the safest EVs in India.
