Citroen has presented a new, sportier avatar of the Basalt coupe-SUV in Brazil, called Basalt Vision. The new sporty iteration features cosmetic and hardware updates. Check the complete details below.

Citroen Basalt Vision: Everything you need to know
The new Basalt Vision has been unveiled at the 2025 São Paulo Auto Show in Brazil. The Vision branding has upgraded the looks and feel of the standard Basalt into a sporty and flamboyant coupe SUV.
As per the details, it features new sporty bumpers with an aerodynamic kit, new 18-inch dual-tone sporty alloy wheels, red brake calipers, a new black connecting accents between the taillights, red accents on the spoiler and side skirts, and Vision motif on the front doors.
Additionally, the Basalt Vision has also been lowered for a more planted high-speed ride quality and engaging driving feel. However, the brand has not unveiled whether it is a new variant or if the Vision kit will be offered as an optional pack.
With that said, we firmly believe that it is based on the top-spec variant and shall come loaded with features like the big infotainment screen, wireless connectivity, wireless charging, ventilated seats, and more.
Since Brazilian car market resonates a lot with the Indian car market, we hope that Citroen will launch the Basalt Vision in India as well in 2026.
