Ducati Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4 recall details

As per the recall details, Ducati India has notified 393 owners of Streetfighter V4 (2018-2025) and Panigale V4 (2018-2024) regarding a potential issue with the rear axle.

The single-sided swingarm can be affected if this issue is not rectified. Ducati is fixing this problem by replacing the rear axle with a new one. Moreover, Ducati has also announced that over 10,000 units have been affected in the US due to this issue.

Although only one incident has been reported in 2023, a motorcycle broke its rear axle while on the move. Additionally, it was never confirmed whether that incident occurred due to the rear axle or not. However, Ducati does not want to play with its customers’ trust, hence the recall has taken place.

If your Panigale V4 is a 2024 or earlier model, or the Streetfighter V4 is 2025 or earlier model, do get in touch with your nearest Ducati dealership.
