Everything to know about the Ferrari 849 Testarossa
Ferrari’s newest flagship is a retro-inspired road-legal spaceship called 849 Testarossa. It is the replacement model for the current flagship SF90 Stradale, and it will be launched in India on March 14.
The 849 Testarossa takes inspiration from the old-gen Testarossa classic supercar. Hence, it has distinctive sharp design features, which include the vertical LED lights, sharp bumper and splitter, a low-slung and wide profile, and a unique rear design with connected rear fenders and twin active spoilers.
On the inside, it features a driver-centric cabin with an F1-inspired centre console design that has a floating gearshift console and a halo-shaped cabin distributor. Ferrari has retained the physical buttons on the 849 Testarossa while it does get three distinctive screens, including the driver console, infotainment, and passenger display.
Powering the new-gen 849 Testarossa is a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine that solely makes 819 bhp. However, the Testarossa also gets benefited by the twin electric motors, which bump the total power output to 1,030 bhp. With this figure, it can sprint 0-100 km/h in just 2.3 seconds, and has a top speed of 330 km/h.
