3 Tata electric cars to launch in 2026
1. Avinya EV
Tata has been showcasing the Avinya concept at the Auto Expo annually. In 2025, the brand showcased the first crossover-SUV concept, which is likely to become the first Avinya-based electric car.
The Avinya platform has been derived from JLR’s EMA architecture, and it will position Tata in the premium EV category, which comprises rivals like Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. Tata’s top official recently confirmed that the first Avinya EV will debut by late 2026.
The expected price range of the first Tata Avinya EV will be Rs 40-45 lakh.
2. Sierra EV
Tata introduced the Sierra moniker in 2025 once again in ICE form. However, the brand has been simultaneously working on its EV avatar, which is scheduled to debut in the second half of 2026.
Sierra EV will offer the same powertrain options as the Harrier EV. An AWD is also expected to be offered on its top-spec variants. Sierra EV will offer a slightly different exterior design and a new interior cabin theme.
The Sierra EV is likely to be launched at a price range of Rs 18-25 lakh.
3. Punch EV facelift
Tata will also launch the Punch EV facelift in 2026. The brand has been rigorously testing the new Punch facelift in ICE and EV forms, and both models are expected to launch in the first half of 2026.
Punch EV facelift will offer a more premium design with new connected lights, new ORVMs, new alloys, etc. On the inside, it will get a revamped theme with a bigger infotainment console, a new digital instrument cluster, and more features.
The new Punch EV facelift will be priced a few thousand above the current model.
