Hero Xtreme 160R 4V new top variant details

The new variant of the Xtreme 160R 4V gets its inspiration from the bigger Xtreme 250R. Introduced in a new grey, black, and lime colour combination called Combat Edition, the new top-spec variant is a tech-loaded version.

It is priced at Rs 4,485 premium over the standard Xtreme 160R 4V, and offers the new features, including the new LED headlight that has been carried over from the Xtreme 250R, a new LCD coloured console, a ride-by-wire throttle that also enables the cruise control feature, and three ride modes – Rain, Road, and Sport.

Apart from these add-ons, the bike remains unchanged mechanically. It is powered by a 163.2cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine that offers 16.9 bhp and 14.6 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The primary rivals of the new Xtreme 160R 4V cruise control variant are the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Bajaj Pulsar N160.
