Honda’s third-gen Amaze sedan has passed the Bharat NCAP crash tests with flying colours. The entry-level Honda sedan scored a 5-star overall BNCAP rating. Check all the details below.

Honda Amaze BNCAP ratings explained
The recently tested Amaze sedan by Bharat NCAP testing agency has scored 5 stars in the overall ratings. Moreover, the sedan has managed to score 5 stars in adult occupant safety and 4 stars in child occupant safety. The new rating is applicable to all the variants of Amaze.
Speaking of the details, the Amaze test car scored 28.33 points out of 32 in the adult occupant safety, whilst it scored 40.81/49 points in child occupant safety. The details of these tests are as follows:
- 14.33/16 points in frontal offset deformable barrier crash test
- 14-16 points in the side movable deformable barrier test
- ‘OK’ rating in the side pole impact test
- 12/12 points in Child Restraint System installation
- 5/13 points in vehicle assessment
The third-gen Amaze comes loaded with the basic safety features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, rear parking sensors, and seat belt reminders. Meanwhile, the top variant is offered with the Level 2 ADAS safety suite that uses a camera-based radar technology.
