Honda CB1000 Hornet SP recall details
The latest recall of the CB1000 Hornet SP is related to the faulty gearshift pivot bolt. As per the company, the exhaust heat is reported to cause softening of the seat surface, which eventually leads to the loosening of the pedal pivot bolt of the lever. This may lead to a loose lever or even falling off the lever.
As far as the affected bikes are concerned, Honda Big Wing has begun the process of contacting the respective current owners of the bikes. The affected bikes also include some 2025 model units. Moreover, the fix is being offered for free, irrespective of the warranty period. Honda Big Wing will begin the fixes in the first week of January 2026 nationwide.
Speaking of the CB1000 Hornet SP, it is based on Honda’s 999cc, inline-four, liquid-cooled engine that offers 155 bhp and 107 Nm of power and torque. It is priced at Rs 13.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
