Honda CBR650R and CB650R updated for MY26 with new colours

Honda's naked CB650R in a new red variant

For MY26, Honda has launched the updated CBR650R in the Europe with a new Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic variant. This new colour uses the matt black shade with the yellow highlights on the panels and side fairings.

However, the CB650R, which is a more popular model in Europe, gets four new colourways. These include: Matt Gundpowder Black Metallic, Matt Jeans Blue Metallic, Candy Energy Orange, and Grand Prix Red.

Apart from the new colours, both bikes remain unchanged. Honda had updated these bikes in 2024 with new design and new features, which included the new LED headlamp, a new 5-inch TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, Honda RoadSync connectivity, traction and ride modes, and the trademark Honda E-Clutch system that offers a seamless riding experience in traffic.

Powering the CBR650R and the CB650R is a 649cc, inline-four, liquid cooled engine that develops 98.6 bhp of peak power and 63 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission with slipper-assist clutch and the new E-Clutch.

Honda is expected to debut the MY26 CBR650R and CB650R in India by late 2025 or early 2026.
