New-gen Hyundai Venue is a hit – Here’s why
Hyundai India has recently announced that its new-gen Venue compact SUV has crossed 80,000 bookings. The Korean carmaker launched the new generation of the Venue in November 2025, with its latest prices starting at Rs 8 lakh, while the range-topping variant is priced at Rs 15.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Venue has been one of the top-selling compact SUVs in India. All thanks to its reliable powertrains, peppy performance, and Hyundai’s widespread after-sales service network and support. Additionally, the new-gen Venue can be had in a variety of powertrain and gearbox options, which include a 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine mated to a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox, and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Moreover, with the new-gen Venue, Hyundai has introduced a number of segment-first features like the Level 2 ADAS safety, a 360-degree camera, and a panoramic connected display. The top-spec variants also get an 8-speaker Bose sound system, electric seats with ventilation, wireless charging, ambient lighting, rear AC vents and fast charging USB ports for the rear passengers.
The direct competitors of the new-gen Venue are Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV3XO, and Tata Nexon.
