What is new on the updated 2026 Kia Carens EV?
The latest update for the Carens EV has brought along new variants and more features. Kia has now added three variants to the Carens EV 51.4 kWh version: GT-Line, GT-Line+, and X-Line. The ex-showroom prices of these new variants are as follows:
- GT-Line: Rs 22.99 lakh
- GT-Line+: Rs 24.99 lakh
- X-Line: Rs 24.99 lakh
Speaking of the details, the GT-Line variant adds a new R17 alloy wheel design, lime green colour brake callipers, and metal pedals. Meanwhile, the X-Line trims add the Dark Gun Metal colour along the new alloy wheels and dark trim parts.
The new variants of the Carens EV also get the digital key and battery heating function. Meanwhile, the brand has also added the new R16 alloy wheels to the 42 kWh variants. The MY26 Carens EV also gets the optional 6-seater layout, which includes the captain seats for the second row.
The 51.4 kWh variants are rated for 171 bhp and 490 km of range, while the 42 kWh variants are rated for 135 bhp and 404 km of range.
