New Kia electric concept – What is it?
The new EV concept teaser of Kia has raised the eyebrows of international car enthusiasts. The sleek and sporty-looking EV concept is believed to become the new-gen Stinger model in the future.
Not long ago, the company’s top official revealed that the brand is working on developing a new flagship model to determine what new strategy they should opt for globally. Moreover, this model is intended to mark a new image for the brand in the global market.
While there is no confirmation whether this is the same car or not, the visible details hint that this EV concept is nothing short of a new flagship model. The sloping roofline, like a coupe, steeply raked A- and C-pillar, a stubby and sculpted bonnet, raised haunches at the rear, and the sleek C-shaped LED taillights with the 3D design, all make it stand out from any of the present Kia car designs.
Meanwhile, the interior design is faintly visible, showing the floating dashboard, a yoke-type steering wheel and two captain seats at the rear. But the details regarding this unnamed concept are yet to be revealed.
Speaking of the next-gen Stinger model, it is highly anticipated that Kia will launch the first-ever electric Stinger in the future. It is likely to be used the 800V architecture used by the current Kia EV6, but it will obviously be tailored for better performance and more efficiency.
As of now, the EV concept remains a mystery that Kia will be taking the cover off in the coming weeks. Until then, stay tuned to shifting-gears.
