Suzuki has announced yet another milestone for its popular SUV, Jimny. The brand has exported more than 1 lakh units of Jimny from India.

Suzuki Jimny 5-Door high export numbers: Superhit in Japan
When Suzuki introduced the Jimny 5-Door in India in 2023, it would not have thought that this SUV would be more famous in the international market than in India. After more than two years of production in India, Suzuki has exported more than 1 lakh units of the 5-Door Jimny in the global markets.
The Jimny 5-Door is based on a stretched platform of the 3-Door version, while it retains its true potential as an off-roader. It comes with the renowned Suzuki ALLGRIP 4WD, which offers superb traction and control off-road.
Suzuki manufactures the 5-Door version in India and exports it to countries like New Zealand, Australia, and Japan. In fact, it is a superhit in Japan, has more than 50,000 units that have been solely exported to Japan. It is fondly called as Jimny Nomade in Japan, and buyers love its nimble yet practical cabin, along with the powerful 1.5-litre K15B engine performance.
Recently, Suzuki has updated the 3-Door Jimny Sierra in Japan with the Level 2 ADAS, while the Jimny Nomade was updated with the same earlier this year.
