Mahindra is set to introduce a new electric SUV in India next year. The brand has confirmed that it will launch the BE.07-based production EV in 2027. Read all the details about it below.

Mahindra BE.07: Everything we know so far
The upcoming BE.07 will be a mix between the coupe and a boxy SUV styling. It will use the current INGLO platform, which is also shared with the XEV 9E, 9S, and the BE 6.
However, it will be a longer vehicle as the concept vehicle that was previewed last year, measured 4.6 metres. This means that the focus will be on the size and cabin space.
What we know so far is that it will bear the unique styling that the Born Electric cars get. The key elements will include sharp edges, large C-shaped LED lights on the front and rear, flared wheel arches, dual-tone aerodynamic alloys, and a receeding roofline.
On the inside, the BE.07 production SUV is likely to get a light dual-tone leather upholstery, a triple screen dashboard with the twin-spoke steering wheel, and features like AI-assisted voice commands, Boss Mode, glass roof, ambient lights, ADAS safety suite, and more.
Since it will be based on the INGLO platform, it is likely to share the same battery specs as the XEV 9E. Hence, we can safely assume that the BE.07 will offer battery packs ranging between 60 kWh to 80 kWh, with maximum range upwards 500 km.
Mahindra will launch the new BE.07-based EV next year, and it is expected to be priced around Rs 30 lakh. It will rival the Tata Harrier EV upon launch.
