With over 25 years of legacy and 16 lakh units sold, the Bolero continues to be a symbol of reliability, especially in rural and semi-urban India. This update aims to make it more appealing to modern buyers without losing its tough-as-nails character.
What’s new in the 2025 Bolero
The updated SUV gets a bold new grille, redesigned fog lamps, and diamond-cut R15 alloy wheels. A new Stealth Black paint option joins the existing palette of Diamond White, DSAT Silver, and Rocky Beige.
Inside, Mahindra has added:
- Leatherette upholstery with improved seat contours
- 17.8 cm touchscreen infotainment system
- Steering-mounted audio controls
- USB C-type charging port
RideFlo tech enhances ride comfort and handling, with improved suspension architecture designed for varied terrain. The Bolero still runs on the mHAWK75 engine, delivering 75 PS and 210 Nm of torque, paired with a body-on-frame chassis that’s built to take abuse.

Our thoughts
The new Bolero is not trying to be an urban crossover or a tech-heavy soft-roader. It’s still the SUV you’d trust on a broken trail, but now it won’t feel like a punishment on city roads. Let’s just hope they never mess with the spare wheel cover, that’s sacred Bolero territory.
