Mahindra Scorpio Classic October 2026 price hike details

The latest price revision for the Scorpio Classic comes just weeks ahead of the upcoming festive season. Mahindra has hiked the prices of all variants of the popular three-row SUV. As per the details shared, the variant-wise price hike is as follows:

  • S11 MT 7-seater: Rs 8,500
  • S MT 9-seater: Rs 7,000
  • S MT 7-seater: Rs 6,500

Mind you, these prices have been hiked on the ex-showroom prices, which means that the on-road prices will be even higher than the announced price hike. With that said, the newly hiked prices have come into immediate effect across all dealerships in India.

Scorpio Classic still in demand: But why?

The Scorpio Classic, despite being more than a decade-old model, keeps on fetching high sales volume for Mahindra. Its rugged ladder-frame chassis and the tried-and-tested, reliable, and frugal 2.2-litre m-Hawk turbo-diesel engine have been its primary USPs.

In suburban markets, tier-3 cities, and rural areas, the Scorpio Classic is still loved for its massive size, raw driving feel, torque-rich performance, and a big cabin that can accommodate up to 9 passengers. While the latter is something no other SUV can offer, the Scorpio Classic also comes with a standard rear-wheel-drive configuration, which can easily push and pull it through loose sand, slush, and difficult terrain and driving conditions that are often faced in rural regions.

To top it off, Mahindra’s widespread service network and strong resale value have been a boon for the Scorpio Classic. These reasons cumulatively help in making it one of the most popular Mahindra cars in India.
