Aprilia has pulled the wraps off the 2025 SR GT Replica, a scooter that brings MotoGP flair to everyday riding. Based on the brand’s “urban adventure” SR GT platform, the Replica edition borrows visual cues straight from the RS-GP race bikes ridden by Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi.
Offered in 125cc and 200cc variants, the SR GT Replica is aimed at riders who want performance and style without jumping into the superbike league. And yes, it looks fast even when parked.
Design: race-ready aesthetics
The SR GT Replica wears a matte black base with red and purple graphics, a large diagonal Aprilia logo, and sponsor branding that mirrors the factory race machines. Riders can even choose race numbers to match their MotoGP heroes.
Other visual upgrades include:
- Black-painted alloy wheels with red accents
- Daisy-profile brake discs
- Sporty road tyres
- MotoGP-style seat and bodywork detailing
Engine and performance
Both versions of the SR GT Replica are Euro 5+ compliant and liquid-cooled:
- 125cc: 14.75 bhp at 8,900 rpm, 12 Nm at 6,750 rpm
- 200cc: 17.4 bhp at 8,650 rpm, 16.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm
The engines are tuned for brisk acceleration, making them ideal for quick overtakes and spirited city rides. A CVT transmission ensures smooth power delivery, while the long-travel suspension and upright ergonomics make it versatile across road surfaces.
Ride and handling
Aprilia has equipped the SR GT Replica with:
- Wide handlebars for better control
- Long-travel telescopic forks and twin rear shocks
- 14-inch wheels with large-section tyres
- High ground clearance for urban and semi-off-road use
Whether you’re dodging potholes or hopping curbs, this scooter feels planted and agile.
Availability and pricing
The SR GT Replica is currently available in European markets, priced from INR 4.7 lakh (excluding duties). While there’s no official word on an India launch, Aprilia fans here can hope for similar liveries on domestic models like the SR 160 or SXR 125.
