MRF Steel Brace SP-01: Everything you need to know
The new Steel Brace SP-01 tyre model is now available in India, and the best part is that it has been certified by Suzuki. The Z-rated model has been tested and certified for a top speed of up to 299 km/h, and Suzuki has given it the green flag to be equipped on the Hayabusa, Katana, and GSX-8R models.
MRF claims that it is the first single-compound tyre in its category, and it offers 15% more life than the Bridgestone S23 that comes equipped on the Hayabusa. Additionally, its zero-degree steel radial belt construction offers uniform wear, which makes sure that the grip is always spot-on, even when the tyre is depleting with use.
The Steel Brace SP-01 is available in multiple sizes, ranging from 160/70 ZR17 to 190/55 ZR17. MRF has also revealed that a set of SP-01 for Hayabusa will cost Rs 34,000, while the price list of other bike models is yet to be disclosed.
