Indian Roadmaster MY25: The Pinnacle of American Touring Arrives in India
Indian Motorcycle has officially launched the Model Year 2025 Roadmaster Series in India, priced from INR 48.49 lakh (ex-showroom). As the flagship of the brand’s heavyweight lineup, the Roadmaster blends heritage styling with modern luxury, making it one of the most aspirational touring motorcycles on sale today.
The MY25 Roadmaster is available in four variants:
- Standard
- Limited
- Dark Horse
- Elite
Each variant offers a unique mix of finishes and features, but all share the same touring DNA and V-twin muscle.
Engine and performance
At the heart of the Roadmaster is the 1,890cc air-cooled Thunderstroke 116 V-twin engine, producing 156 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features:
- Ride-by-wire throttle
- Slipper clutch
- Three ride modes: Tour, Standard, and Sport
- Cruise control for effortless highway cruising
Despite its size, the Roadmaster delivers smooth, predictable power and a commanding road presence.

The Roadmaster is built for long-distance comfort and comes loaded with premium features:

The 7-inch touchscreen with Ride Command+ supports Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and turn-by-turn navigation. The Elite variant adds exclusive paintwork, adaptive LED lighting, and upgraded audio.
