What to expect from the new Bajaj Chetak variant?
Bajaj has sent the media invites for the launch of a new variant of the Chetak e-scooter. As seen in the teaser image, the new variant will most likely offer the same design, but fewer features.
As per our expectations, this new variant will focus on the affordability factor. Bajaj is most likely to price it around Rs 1 lakh, which also happens to be the price territory of TVS Orbiter, its newest rival.
Bajaj has been running the test mules of this affordable variant in and around Pune for a long time. We’ve seen and shared the spy shots earlier, and we are confident that this scooter will offer an identical design and hardware to the other variants.
While we are still unsure about its battery specs and range, it will certainly skip features like the TFT console and more to keep its price in check. The new iteration is scheduled to launch on January 14, and we will bring you all the details about it with its launch. Until then, stay tuned.
