Toyota has launched a new base variant of the Rumion MPV, called E. With the new variant addition, the Rumion is now available in four variants. Read all the details about the Rumion E variant below.

Toyota Rumion E variant – All details explained
The Rumion MPV is essentially a rebadged Maruti Ertiga. However, Toyota has made cosmetic tweaks to it so that it has its own identity and looks more like other Toyota vehicles. With that said, Rumion has been available in India at a steep price of Rs 10.51 lakh, as the S variant was positioned as the base variant earlier.
Now, the brand has added the E variant at Rs 9.56 lakh, which makes it Rs 95,000 cheaper than the S variant. The E variant is loaded with LED projector headlights, 15-inch steel wheels, body coloured bumpers, door handles, and mirrors, and no roof rails.
On the inside, it features the beige theme with a semi-digital console, a manual AC, six airbags, rear AC vents, a 12V power socket, a Type-A charging port, hill-hold assist, and rear parking sensors. Convenience features include all-four power windows, power-operated mirrors, and a manually adjustable day/night interior rear view mirror.
The E variant is powered solely by the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, K15C petrol engine sourced from Maruti Suzuki. It makes 103 bhp of peak power output, and it is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Rumion E variant does not come with an automatic gearbox or a CNG option.
With that said, the Rumion MPV is now available at Rs 9.56-13.86 lakh (ex-showroom). Customers can choose between E, S, G, and V (top) variants.
