Next-gen Toyota Corolla: What to expect?

The Corolla has been a top-selling Toyota car worldwide because of its comfort, space, and durability. Toyota is set to give it a thorough update in the form of a new generation model.

The first set of photos of the upcoming Corolla concept has been unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. As seen in the photos, the upcoming model features a radical design change.

The front design has a low-slung shape with a closed front grille and a set of new vertical LED headlights that are connected through an LED lightbar. Only the lower portion of the bumper and the space underneath the windshield give it a proper air flow.

The overall shape, especially from the side, looks sporty and reminds us of the first-gen Prius. It gets aerodynamic ORVMs, flush door handles, and a charging port on the front fender, hinting at the EV and PHEV versions.

The rear design is equally enticing with its ducktail spoiler and a set of connected, pixelated LED taillights, and a flat tailgate shape. The ‘Corolla’ lettering on the tailgate looks smashing.

As of now, no details regarding the interiors and engine specifications have been revealed. We suspect that Toyota will reveal new details in the coming months.
