Ola Electric has introduced a new community-based programme for its existing customers. The new customer retention programme offers big benefits to the existing customers, while the new customers can also avail discounts through it. Read its complete details below.

What is the Ola Insiders programme?

Ola’s new existing owners community-based programme has been launched to retain customers for the long term and also help in attracting new customers. The Bengaluru-based EV maker has been struggling with slow sales and a depleting reputation for a long time, and this new programme has been designed to recover from the damage.

As per the details, this programme allows the existing Gen 1 and Gen 2 owners to upgrade to the Gen 3 scooter or buy a Roadster e-motorcycle and avail discounts of up to Rs 50,000. Moreover, the existing customers can purchase an add-on that will cut Rs 20,000 on their next Ola product purchase in the future.

Meanwhile, for the existing customers who are not willing to upgrade right now, can refer new customers and get Rs 5,000 in Ola credits. Furthermore, the referred new customer will also receive a Rs 1,000 discount on their new EV purchase.

Ola has designed this new structured programme as a long-term tactic to retain the existing customers who have been suffering from poor or nearly non-existent after-sales service.
