MG Cyberster sales skyrocket

The Cyberster became MG India’s first sports car to go on sale in the domestic market in July this year. Launched at Rs 74.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the Cyberster comes in a single, fully-loaded variant.

As per the data released by the company, it has sold 256 units of the Cyberster within two months of its launch. This comes as a testament to MG, because the market for premium cars is very competitive and brand-sensitive.

The primary reason behind customers opting for the Cyberster is its value-for-money tag. The electric sports car looks cool and comes with a convertible roof, which adds to its appeal.

Moreover, its 77 kWh battery pack, which is paired to two electric motors on each axle, offer 503 bhp and 725 Nm. These figures pull it from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, making it a quick sports car, especially for its price tag. The MIDC-claimed range for the Cyberster stands at 580 km, which is also practical.

Meanwhile, it is loaded with a high-quality material cabin and features like the Level 2 ADAS, a curved dynamic display with a 10.25-inch touchscreen and twin 7-inch digital panels.
