Qubo raises the bar with next-gen dashcams aimed at safer Indian roads

Key highlights

  • Qubo enters new territory with India’s first mass-market 4G-connected dashcam and a full 3-channel setup
  • New Dashcam 4G Live and Dashcam Trio focus on real-world Indian driving conditions
  • Live tracking, cabin recording, and cloud features bring accountability back to the road

Qubo has just made a strong statement in the dashcam space. The Hero Group-backed smart devices brand has unveiled its next generation of dashcams, and this is not a mild update. With the launch of the Dashcam 4G Live and the Dashcam Trio, Qubo is clearly pushing the category beyond simple recording and into the connected safety era.

Dashcams in India have moved from novelty to necessity. Anyone who drives here knows why. From disputed accidents to road rage and questionable challans, a silent witness on the windshield has become invaluable. Qubo’s latest move builds on that reality and adds a few sharp new tools to the mix.

The headline act is the Qubo Dashcam 4G Live. This is a connected dashcam with built-in 4G support. It allows users to stream live video from their car, track its location in real time, and even talk through the dashcam using two-way audio. Think of it as FaceTime for your car, minus the awkward angles. It also sends instant alerts for events like hard impacts, overspeeding, or geofence breaches. These features work through Qubo’s CloudPlay subscription, which also stores critical footage on the cloud.

This dashcam records in 2K resolution and uses a wide-angle lens to capture more of the road. It also comes with night vision tuned for Indian conditions and runs on a supercapacitor instead of a battery. That matters in a country where summers are not known for mercy. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB, which is more than enough to document a lifetime of questionable driving decisions around you.

Then there is the Qubo Dashcam Trio. As the name suggests, this one runs three cameras at once. One looks ahead, one watches the rear, and the third keeps an eye on the cabin. This setup records the full story, inside and out. It can help monitor driver behaviour, protect against false allegations, and even catch in-car theft attempts. There is also a cabin camera with night vision, because trouble rarely checks the clock before showing up.

The Trio records front footage in 2K and rear and cabin footage in full HD. It gets a built-in display to view footage instantly and supports app-based access through the Qubo Pro app. Like the 4G Live, it also uses a supercapacitor and supports large storage cards.

With these launches, Qubo now covers almost every serious dashcam use case. From daily commuters and fleet owners to families and road trip addicts, there is a clear attempt to make dashcams smarter, not just sharper.
