Range Rover SV, Sport SV Edition Two prices cut by Rs 75 lakh

Range Rover has announced a massive price cut for its top models, including the SV and Sport SV Edition Two. The range-topper SV is now cheaper by Rs 75 lakh, thus bringing the price from Rs 4.25 crore (old) to Rs 3.50 crore (new), both ex-showroom.

Meanwhile, the following model, i.e. the Sport SV Edition Two, has witnessed a price cut of Rs 40 lakh. This has resulted in the new price of Rs 2.35 crore for the SUV, as opposed to Rs 2.75 crore previously.

With that said, these prices have been reduced only for the models that are imported from the UK-based production facility of the company. However, the localised models like the Evoque, Velar, Discovery Sport, and more, remain as they are. Meanwhile, the popular model Defender is imported from the Slovakia-based plant, hence its pricing also remains unchanged.

The UK-India FTA deal is set to come into effect in the coming days. This will result in massive price drops for various imported cars. However, a few manufacturers have announced that their cars will not undergo any price changes, including Mercedes-Benz.
