The latest Diavel V4 RS is the most powerful Diavel iteration ever produced. In addition to the RS badge and the cosmetic changes, it has also become the fastest Ducati motorcycle in production form.

Speaking of the details, the Diavel V4 RS is powered by the 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, which makes 179 bhp and 121 Nm of power and torque. This is the same powertrain that is shared with the Panigale and the Streetfighter V4. It also gets the new 6-speed transmission with the STM-EVO SBK dry clutch and the latest Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 system.

Tested by Ducati’s MotoGP star rider Marc Marquez, the Diavel V4 RS has officially become the fastest in the entire product lineup. It managed to do 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, which is staggering for a naked sporty cruiser bike.

In terms of the hardware, it uses the engine as a stress member of the chassis, while the lightweight aluminium monocoque frame is paired with the single-sided aluminium swingarm and the new all-aluminium forged alloy wheels that save up to 3 kgs.

For the braking duties, the Diavel V4 RS is equipped with the Brembo Stylema calipers and a 330mm front and 265mm rear disc setup. The suspension duties are handled by fully-adjustable Ohlins USD forks and a monoshock.

Features of the new Diavel V4 RS include the Bosch IMU, three power modes, four riding modes, traction control, wheelie control, cornering ABS, and a launch control system. Moreover, it gets a 5-inch TFT console that can record the lap times and 0-100 km/h and 0-200 km/h times.

Styling upgrades include the new RS livery and carbon fibre parts, titanium exhaust tips, and more. Ducati is likely to introduce a limited number of units of the Diavel V4 RS in India. However, the pricing can jump north of Rs 25 lakh.
