Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 R: Everything we know so far
The latest spy shots of the upcoming 750cc Continental GT appear to be a lower-spec variant. The test mule was spotted with a semi-race fairing, a design identical to the prototype motorcycle showcased at the Motoverse 2025. It also had the numbered side panels, similar to the old-school cafe racers. Since it is a test bike, the side panels do not get any graphics or special numbering.
The design takes inspiration from the old-school cafe racers. It gets a round headlamp with a cowl that is extended to the fuel tank and features a small, clear windscreen. Additionally, the test bike has a new suspension and small exhaust cans, which clearly hint at the bigger engine and new hardware.
The test bike was spotted running on the current design 18-inch alloy wheels, while it had a single seat that looked like the current optional touring seat. Other key details include the twin-pod semi-digital instrument console, which is again identical to the current motorcycle.
The test mule also had the bar-end mirrors, which make it even more appealing and old-school. Another big update will be the bigger 750cc parallel-twin oil-cooled engine that is expected to offer 55 bhp and 65 Nm of power and torque. It will be mated to a 6-speed transmission, and the features will include the slipper-assist clutch, a dual-channel ABS, and LED lights.
While Royal Enfield has not uttered a word about its launch timeline, we expect it to be introduced later this year. The Continental GT 750 will become the first 750cc Royal Enfield motorcycle in the world, which will be followed by the other models, including a roadster and an ADV, called Himalayan 750.
