Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 teased ahead of EICMA 2025 debut

Key highlights

  • Royal Enfield confirms global debut of Himalayan 750 at EICMA 2025 on November 4
  • Powered by a new 750cc parallel-twin engine based on the 650cc platform
  • Features include USD forks, dual front discs, TFT dash, and rally-ready ergonomics

Royal Enfield has dropped a teaser for its most anticipated adventure motorcycle yet, the Himalayan 750. Set to make its global debut at EICMA 2025 in Milan on November 4, the bike promises to take the brand’s ADV game to a whole new level. The teaser caption, “Born at 5,632 meters. Bound for Milan,” shows the bike tearing through Ladakh’s rugged terrain, hinting at its high-altitude DNA and global ambitions.

This isn’t just a bigger Himalayan. It’s a ground-up evolution, built to compete with global middleweight ADVs like the Triumph Tiger 660 and KTM 790 Adventure. And from what we’ve seen so far, it’s got the hardware to back it up.

Engine and Performance

The Himalayan 750 will be powered by a new parallel-twin engine, derived from the existing 650cc platform but tuned for more grunt. Expect power figures north of 50 bhp, with torque likely in the 60-70 Nm range. The engine will be air/oil-cooled, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch for smoother downshifts.

Suspension, Brakes, and Ergonomics

Royal Enfield is going all-in on off-road capability. The bike will feature adjustable upside-down forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking duties will be handled by dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear, likely with switchable dual-channel ABS.

Ergonomics are rally-inspired. The teaser shows a higher handlebar, forward-set footpegs, and a split-seat setup. These tweaks will help riders stay balanced while standing on the pegs, essential for serious trail work.

Design and Features

The Himalayan 750 will sport a half-fairing, circular LED headlamp, upright windscreen, and knuckle guards. Expect a larger TFT instrument console with turn-by-turn navigation, possibly integrated with Google Maps. Other likely additions include traction control, crash protection, saree guard, and all-LED lighting.

Spy shots suggest two variants one with wire-spoke wheels and tubed tyres for hardcore off-roading, and another with alloy wheels and road-biased tyres for touring.

Launch and India Debut

While the global reveal is set for EICMA, Indian enthusiasts won’t have to wait long. The Himalayan 750 is expected to make its first public appearance at Motoverse 2025 in Goa on November 21. Pricing could start around INR 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Royal Enfield’s most premium offering yet.
