Skoda Kodiaq latest recall details
The latest recall for the Kodiaq SUV comes after Skoda has identified 221 units with a faulty inner side seat frame of the front seats. The affected units have been reported to have this defect, and these models were manufactured between March 10 and December 8, 2025.
The recall-related information was revealed through the SIAM (Society of Indian Automotive Manufacturers) website. The specified issue is suspected to reduce the effectiveness of the side airbags for the front passengers, which can further increase the injury of the occupants.
Skoda has identified the owners of the affected units, and the brand will be doing a free replacement of the affected cars as per the convenience and availability of the customers. Mind you, the affected Skoda Kushaq also includes the second-generation model, as it was launched in April 2025.
