Skoda is readying a new limited-edition car for Indian buyers. The Octavia vRS is all set to launch in the coming months, and it has been spied during a TVC shoot recently. Read its complete details below.

Skoda Octavia vRS: What do we know so far?
The latest spy shots of a lime green coloured Octavia vRS come from Leh, where it was spotted during a TVC advertisement shoot. It is the same car that was displayed at the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year.
Speaking of the details, the Octavia vRS will be limited to 100 units in India when launched. Its official bookings will go live from October 6 nationwide, while the deliveries are bound to start from November 6. The expected price of the vRS Octavia is Rs 45 lakh as it will be a CBU model, while the official pricing will be revealed on October 17.
In terms of updates, it gets a sporty cosmetic treatment with new bumpers, new vRS badging, a vRS front grille, and lightweight vRS dual-tone alloy wheels. The spoty kit is offered with a contrasting black colour.
On the inside, it will come loaded with sporty Alcantara upholstery, sporty front seats with red stitching, aluminium pedals, a vRS steering wheel, and red cosmetic highlights for an overall sporty feel.
In terms of features, the Octavia vRS will get a 10-inch digital instrument console with a sporty user interface, a 13-inch infotainment screen that will display the vital stats of the car, including the G-forces and more. The creature comfort features include wireless charging, ambient lighting, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, powered front seats with memory function and ventilation, dual-zone auto AC, and more.
In terms of safety, the vRS will come loaded with the Level 2 ADAS safety suite, which includes the front collision avoidance, lane change assist, blind spot assist, a 360-degree camera, and more.
Powering the Octavia vRS will be a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine that develops 265 PS of peak power and 370 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission with paddle shifters. As per the company’s claim, it can sprint 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds, and has a 250 km/h of top speed.
