Key highlights
- Suzuki Motorcycle India adds four new colour options to the V-STROM SX lineup.
- Refreshed graphics give the 250cc ADV a sharper, more premium look.
- No mechanical changes, still powered by the same 249cc oil-cooled engine.
Suzuki Motorcycle India has given its quarter-litre adventure tourer, the V-STROM SX, a fresh coat of attitude. The company has introduced four new colour options:
- Pearl Fresh Blue + Glass Sparkle Black
- Champion Yellow No. 2 + Glass Sparkle Black
- Pearl Glacier White + Metallic Mat Stellar Blue
- Glass Sparkle Black
Each variant gets updated graphics that add more edge to the bike’s already rugged stance.
The new colours are available across dealerships starting this week. Suzuki hasn’t changed the pricing, which means the V-STROM SX continues to retail at INR 2.12 lakh (ex-showroom).
What stays the same
Mechanically, the V-STROM SX remains untouched. It still packs:
- 249cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine
- 26.5 PS and 22.2 Nm of torque
- 6-speed gearbox
- 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels
- Dual-channel ABS and Suzuki Easy Start System
The bike is built on the same platform as the Gixxer 250 but tuned for adventure riding. It gets a semi-fairing, tall windscreen, upright ergonomics, and a USB charging port. The digital console supports Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
Adventure-ready, now with more flair
The refreshed graphics include sharper tank decals, revised side panel accents, and colour-matched beak extensions. Suzuki says the new palette is designed to appeal to younger riders and touring enthusiasts who want style with substance.
The V-STROM SX has carved a niche for itself in the entry-level ADV segment, competing with the likes of the KTM 250 Adventure and Hero XPulse 200 4V. With the new colours, it now looks more premium without touching the price tag.
Our thoughts
The V-STROM SX didn’t quite need a mechanical overhaul. It needed a visual refresh, and that’s exactly what it got. I love that they didn’t mess with the formula. Just added more flavour to an already solid dish.
