Suzuki Vision e-Sky BEV: What to expect?
The upcoming Vision e-Sky is a BEV that has been made on a new electric platform. It features the typical Kei car design philosophy of Japanese culture. Suzuki says that it has been designed by keeping “Unique, Smart, Positive” in mind.
The small-looking e-Sky EV has a tallboy design that indicates a spacious cabin. On the outside, it features C-shaped LED DRLs and Matrix LED lights with vertical LED foglights and a closed grille. The side profile has aerodynamic wheels and a “floating” C-pillar design. The rear design gets C-shaped LED lights and a roof-mounted stop brake lightbar.
While the exterior of the e-Sky is reminiscent of the S-Presso, it is taller than it is. Dimension-wise, e-Sky measures 3,395mm in length, 1,475mm in width, and 1,625mm in height.
On the inside, it gets a floating dashboard with a dual-screen setup and the gearshift lever positioned below the dashboard, eliminating the centre console to free space for the front passengers. Other key highlights include the squicircle steering wheel with media and MID buttons, wing mirrors, split-type seats, etc.
Suzuki has revealed that the e-Sky concept has a range of over 270 km, which places it in the MG Comet category. The brand will put it on display at the upcoming auto show in Japan. However, a production version is likely to debut by 2026-27.
