Key highlights
- Tata Sierra interior spied with triple-screen dashboard setup
- Premium materials, illuminated Tata logo, and touch-based controls revealed
- Launch expected by late 2025 with both ICE and EV variants
The Tata Sierra has been teased multiple times. We have even seen multiple spyshots if the car being tested on Indian roads. The SUV has been caught in the wild yet again. Fresh spy shots have revealed the SUV’s cabin in detail and it’s easily Tata Motors’ most futuristic interior yet. From a sleek triple-screen layout to an illuminated Tata logo, the Sierra looks ready to redefine what a modern Tata SUV feels like.
Triple screens take center stage
The highlight of the interior is a single, sweeping glass panel that holds three digital displays, one each for the driver, front passenger, and central infotainment system. This is the first time we’ve seen such a setup in any Tata model.
It’s a design cue more commonly seen in luxury EVs and high-end SUVs, and it gives the Sierra’s cabin a high-tech, seamless vibe. The displays loo sharp signalling that Tata is pushing hard to elevate its in-car experience.
Premium yet minimalist design
The steering wheel now features an illuminated Tata logo, a small but classy touch that adds personality.
Just below the main display you can see the touch-based HVAC controls and a compact gear selector, keeping the layout neat. The wide center console appears practical too, with generous storage, wireless charging, and likely ambient lighting. Expect top-tier features like a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and full connected car tech to complete the cabin.
Under the Hood
Tata hasn’t shared official powertrain details yet, but the Sierra is expected to arrive in both ICE and EV versions. The electric model will likely use Tata’s Gen 2 EV platform, while the ICE variant could share its engine lineup with the Harrier and Safari. The new 1.5L petrol engine is expected to make a debut with the Sierra.
Positioning and launch
The Sierra will sit above the Harrier in Tata’s lineup. It is expected to be revealed later this year and the launch will be early next year. Expect it to be priced between INR 18 lakh to INR 25 lakh.
