Tata Sierra

Platform and design

The new Sierra is based on the ARGO or All-Terrain Ready, Omni-Energy, and Geometry Scalable platform. This platform supports various powertrains, including ICE, Hybrid, CNG, and EV. While the CNG and Hybrid versions of the Sierra are unknown as of now, an all-electric Sierra will certainly be launched in India soon.

The new-gen Sierra competes with the Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Therefore, it has been priced aggressively at Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it competitive with its bigger dimensions and more features.

Sierra 3

The Sierra is based on a boxy design language, which has the modern elements, including the connected LED lights, 17-inch (steel on the base variant) to 19-inch dual-tone alloys (depending on the variant), and a rear quarter kink in piano black colour that resembles the large quarter glass of the first-gen Sierra.

Dimension-wise, Sierra is 4,340 mm in length, 1,841 mm in width, 1,715 mm in height, has a 2,730 mm wheelbase, 205 mm ground clearance, and offers 622 litres of cargo space.
