Tata Sierra to feature India’s first infinity screen

Key highlights

  • Tata Sierra will debut with a triple-screen Infinity layout across the dashboard
  • First Indian SUV to offer a co-passenger entertainment screen as standard
  • Launch set for November 25, with petrol, diesel, and EV variants confirmed

Tata Motors is going all in with the 2025 Sierra. The SUV will be the first in India to feature an Infinity Screen setup, a seamless, triple-display layout that stretches across the dashboard. This includes a digital driver’s cluster, a central infotainment touchscreen, and a dedicated co-passenger screen, all housed in a single, flowing panel.

This isn’t a concept tease. It’s production-ready and confirmed for the Sierra’s November 25 launch. The Infinity Screen marks a major leap in Tata’s cabin design language, pushing it into premium territory where tech isn’t just functional.

What makes it an Infinity Screen?

Unlike traditional setups with standalone displays, the Sierra’s dashboard integrates all three screens into one continuous unit. The layout is clean, minimal, and futuristic. The driver’s display shows fuel economy, range, and ADAS alerts. The infotainment screen handles navigation, media, and climate controls. The co-passenger screen is designed for entertainment and personalization, think ambient lighting, seat settings, or even curated playlists.

The UI borrows elements from the Tata Curvv, but the Sierra adds more depth with mirrored content, lane departure warnings, and possibly a head-up display, another first for Tata.

Features that complement the screen

The Sierra will also offer:

  • Dual-zone climate control with touch-based HVAC panel
  • Panoramic sunroof and multi-colour ambient lighting
  • Ventilated front seats, JBL sound system, and wireless charging
  • Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, and electronic parking brake

The cabin theme follows a dual-tone grey and black layout, with brushed metal inserts and a new four-spoke steering wheel featuring an illuminated Tata logo.

Powertrain and launch details

The Sierra will be available with petrol, diesel, and electric options. The ICE lineup includes Tata’s new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and the familiar 1.5-litre diesel. Transmission choices will include manual and dual-clutch automatic. The EV variant will follow later, likely using Tata’s Acti.ev architecture.

Expected pricing starts around INR 11 lakh, with top-end variants pushing closer to INR 20 lakh. The Sierra will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara, while the EV version will take on the Creta EV and Mahindra BE 6.
