- Triumph Bonneville T4 launched at Rs 2.54 lakh
- It is positioned below the Bonneville T40
- Gets fewer features and basic retro styling
Triumph India has launched the Bonneville T4 retro-styled roadster motorcycle alongside the Bonneville T40. The T4 is essentially a low-cost, more affordable version of the T40, which packs fewer features and a simple yet retro design.
The Bonneville T4 features solid colours and gets a simple LCD console as opposed to the TFT screen of the T40. However, it does get Bluetooth connectivity and connected features like turn-by-turn navigation support, SMS and call alerts, etc.
It is available in three colours: Carnival Red, Phantom Black, and Competition Green. The T4 also features a different Triumph and Bonneville badge compared to the T40.

Powering the Bonneville T4 is a 349cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine sourced from the Speed T4. However, Triumph has re-engineered its cylinder head and re-tuned the ECU for a more linear power delivery, focusing on strong low-end torque for a laid-back cruising experience. This engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox and gets the slipper clutch as standard.
With these changes, the Bonneville T4’s engine develops 28.2 bhp and 31 Nm of power and torque. Triumph has also added three riding modes to the T4: Road, Rain, and Eco. These riding modes alter the throttle response and ABS settings for a relaxed riding experience as per the change in the riding conditions.
Triumph has also equipped the Bonneville T4 with an all-new frame that packs a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a single seat, round mirrors, oval lights, and spoked tyres for a complete retro package. It does get disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard.
Triumph India will commence online and offline bookings for the Bonneville T4 today from 4:30 PM onwards. However, deliveries are scheduled for the second week of January 2027.
