Triumph Tracker 400: Everything you need to know
Triumph has launched the new Tracker 400, a flat-track-inspired motorcycle, which is based on the Speed 400’s platform. With the launch of the new Tracker 400, Triumph has also debuted its all-new 350cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor, which is essentially a downsized version of the outgoing 399cc engine.
Speaking of the engine specs first, the new 350cc engine boasts a revised engine geometry with a shorter stroke of 56.1 mm, instead of the previous 64 mm, to offer the same performance and punch as before by keeping the linear acceleration and flat torque curve intact. This engine now makes 40 PS and 32 Nm on the Tracker 400, while it can touch 154 km/h of top speed.
Apart from the revised engine, the Tracker 400 features a small flyscreen, a sculpted fuel tank with flat-track-inspired vinyls, side numbered plates, and a unique tail section with a flat single seat. It is available in three colours: Racing Yellow, Phantom Black, and Aluminium Silver Gloss.
Apart from the Tracker’s unique design, it packs the premium fit and finish along with the features, including the LED lights, a semi-digital instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity, traction control, a dual-channel ABS, 17-inch alloys, USD front suspension, and an adjustable rear monoshock suspension.
The Tracker 400 is priced at Rs 2,43,225 (ex-showroom Delhi). The official bookings have commenced pan India, and the deliveries are expected to begin shortly.
